This Privacy Policy describes how SAT Monster ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use satmonster.com and our related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email, and password when you sign up.
• Usage data: lessons viewed, quiz answers, XP, streaks, and progress.
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information for security and analytics.

How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Track your learning progress and personalize your experience.
• Process payments and grant access to purchased courses.
• Send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, important updates).
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with these providers, as needed to run the Service:

• Stripe processes payments.
• Google handles "Sign in with Google".
• Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase) hosts the site, database, and accounts.
• Lovable AI Gateway (routing to Google Gemini and similar models) powers Jerry, our AI tutor. Messages you send to Jerry are sent to this provider to generate replies.
• Our email provider sends receipts, password resets, and account emails.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel measures page visits and purchases for advertising.

Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and save progress. We also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which records page views, checkout starts, and purchases, and basic site analytics to understand traffic. You can opt out of advertising cookies with the cookie notice shown on your first visit, or by clearing your site data and choosing "Opt out of ad cookies".

Users Under 18

Many of our students are teenagers. For student accounts we store name, email, test goals, onboarding answers, lesson progress, quiz answers, and messages to Jerry. Student data is never sold and never used for third-party advertising targeting. Parents or guardians may request access to, or deletion of, their student's data by emailing satmonsterinc@gmail.com.

Data Retention

We keep your account and progress data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account instantly with "Delete my account" in Settings, or by emailing us. Deleted account data is removed from our systems within 30 days, including backups.

Your Rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data by contacting us at satmonsterinc@gmail.com.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
